Thank you for your recognition that we are all created for a purpose.

All of us. Me. You. Our clients. Their unborn children. And the generations that will follow after them.

I'm so happy you can join us at our first vision dinner, where we will update you on where we've been and point you to our vision for the future. There are several items on this page that we like to include yearly. The first contains commonly asked questions and addresses common misunderstandings about the ministry.

The second is a prayer guide that invites you to pray for YCR - we know God's hand is on the ministry and His guidance is the only reason we can impact lives. Please consider setting aside time to pray for the ministry, the board, the staff, our volunteers, and our life-changing partners.

Last, there's nothing like a visit to the center to give you a better understanding of what takes place each day, and the lives that we touch. I love to conduct tours, so please reach out to schedule a visit, or just drop by. Interacting with the partners who enable what we do is my favorite thing to do.

Thanks for stopping by this site – it means so much!

In Christ Alone,

Pray for protection from the Enemy as we see the battle escalating. Pray for physical and emotional protection for all who minister here.

2 Samuel: 22:3-4
My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge, my Savior; you save me from violence. I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.

Pray that men would rise up to mentor the young men who desperately need to see what godly men, and godly fathers, look like.

Philippians 1:9
The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me – practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Isaiah 48:17
This is what the Lord says – your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.

Your Choices Randolph Ministry Guide

Common Questions about Your Choices Randolph

In consultation with Christian marketing experts who strategically target women called ‘abortion-determined’, we have learned that those details tend to scare women who may choose abortion, and many unfortunately won’t consider coming to a Christian organization when contemplating abortion. Certainly, from the time they enter the doors until they leave, they will experience the love of Christ. In fact, every client will hear who Jesus is and the impact He can have on her life. But our goal is to get women in the doors without any preconceived ideas about how we will judge them or feel about them.

We now have a donor website that can be found at www.friendsofycr.org. There we will share stories and prayer requests, tell you about changes and growth of the ministry, and keep you informed. Please check it out to learn about the impact of the ministry.

Our primary mission is to reach women who are considering abortion. Focus group surveys in 2014 revealed that those women were more likely to visit a center without pregnancy in the name. Since the name change, we’ve seen a large increase in the number of women (and their partners) who call or visit the center. Additionally, we feel that the word ‘choice’ has been seized by the pro-abortion movement to give women a deceptive sense of empowerment. Abortion clinics offer only one choice, while we recognize that women have 3 choices. Our name honors that while encouraging them to choose life!

Upon the ruling made by the Supreme Court, decisions about abortion laws were returned to the individual states. In NC, abortion has remained legal through 20 weeks – that’s 5 months! We have seen a dramatic increase in abortions in NC as a result, and more women than ever are contacting us. The reversal of Roe has also caused a huge uptick in the number of women using the abortion pill to end their pregnancies.

The abortion pill is also known as a medication, or chemical abortion. What is called ‘the abortion pill,’ is at least 2 pills. The first is taken either at an abortion clinic, or at home without any oversight, and the second is always taken at home a day or two later. The first pill (mifepristone) ends the life of the baby, and the second pill (misoprostol) expels the baby from the woman’s body. The passing of the baby will most likely happen within 24 hours at home, often in the woman’s bathroom, and it’s possible she will pass something that is recognizable as a baby. One of the biggest risks is that a woman may choose to keep this abortion secret, meaning she may be alone when she begins to bleed and expel the baby. And beyond the 11-week cutoff that the FDA has approved for the use of drugs for medication abortion, many online resources are suggesting women simply buy more of the second medication. This can cause hemorrhaging and even put her life in danger.

Well over 53% of abortions are now medication abortions. Companies are popping up all over the world that will mail both pills to women. Of great concern is that women are now having unsupervised abortions, as medication from other countries is not regulated AND there will be no monitoring of the true number of abortions taking place.

Because we have 2 very different audiences – our donors and our clients, and they desire very different information from us, we have separate pages. Our donor Facebook page is called “Friends of Your Choices Randolph.” It’s a closed group, which means a client won’t happen across it. But it also means you must ask to become part of it. Follow the link or please let us know if you’d like to be added. Our main Facebook page is client-focused, so the content you see there is intended to encourage women who are sexually active and/or considering an abortion to call or visit us.
